Youth summit is offered in Fairfield

Truevine Doxa Center begins a Life Changing Youth Summit Monday that continues through Aug. 13.

Topics of the summit will be “becoming a young lady”, “becoming a young man”, health, nutrition, family, self-esteem, etiquette, financial literacy,

why are you so angry?” and more.

Family competitions will be held, as well as car giveaways, the “biggest losers” and “leaders are readers”.

Certified teachers and instructors will be available, and classes include a free breakfast and lunch.

Participants will attend from Dallas, DeSoto, Fairfield, Ft. Worth, McKinney and Red Oak, and Shreveport, La.

The summit will be held Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Registration is Thursday, June 10, 4 to 6 p.m.

The summit is free, a $30 application fee will be imposed.

Space is limited. Ages seven to 18 are invited.
