Dear Editor:

My father and I attended the flea market in Fairfield. We didn’t know until arrival that the Emmons family was sponsoring a farm/livestock show. We are avid listeners of the trading post and only heard about the flea market. We may have missed when they mentioned the show.

Either way, we had a great time at both events on May 22. We watched the show for five plus hours under a very cool pavilion.

I would like to praise the Emmons family, Fairfield show barn team and all the young people that showed animals. Also, the judges, who had a very hard job because of all the talent.
