JAMES ALLEN RICHARD Funeral services were held Tuesday for James Allen Richard, 65, who died May 26 at Providence Health Center of Waco.

Rev. Stanley Johnson and Rev. Larry Rose, Jr. officiated at the service, held at Union Memorial United Methodist Church in Coolidge. Viewing was Monday. Interment was at Sandy Creek Cemetery in Coolidge with full military honors.

Mr. Richard was born Mar. 23, 1945 in Coolidge and attended the public schools of the Sandy Community. He was a truck driver and a disabled U.S. Army veteran. His parents, James Allen Richard, Sr. and Coquise Taulton Richard, preceded him in death.

Those who will cherish his memory most are his wife Ginger Richard of Teague, sons Kenny Allen Richard, Lubbock, Terrance James Richard and wife, Darlita, Snyder, Franchell Richard, Lubbock, Johnathan McWilliams, Teague, and Marcus Thompson and wife, Delma, Austin;

Daughter Glenda Richard and husband, Donnell, Arlington, brothers Willie Briscoe and wife, Janette, Houston, Alfred Briscoe and wife, Lillie, Houston, Cecil B. Willis, Fairfield, sisters Doris Davison, Waco, Rojean Hutchinson and husband, Clarence; Lucy Boyd, Bobbie Briscoe, Doris Henderson, all of Mexia;

Joyce Muphord, Houston, Argie Sanders, Houston, Katherine Gray and husband, Alexander, Katy, 12 grandchildren; aunts Thelma Johnson, Las Vegas, and Mae Taulton, Ft. Worth, two great-grandchildren; three brothers-In-law , three sisters In-law and very special friend Earnest Busby, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
