JACOB SESSIONS
Commencement exercises were held Saturday at First Baptist Church of Fairfield for three students in Tri-County Home Educators Association.
Master of ceremonies was Thomas Harlow and the Rev. Ken Pruitt of FBC gave the commencement address.
Graduates were Jacob Sessions of Fairfield, Lauren Craig of Mansfield and Patrick Lloyd of Mexia.
Sessions is a lifelong Fairfield resident and the son of Hammond and Karla Sessions.
He is a member of Eagle Country 4-H Club and has completed numerous projects and competitions, served in club, county and district leadership positions and is a 4-H Gold Star recipient.
Sessions also is active in power tumbling and teaches at Zero Gravity Gymnastics Academy in Waco.
The student has attended Criswell College, Texas State Technical College and Navarro College. He plans to pursue a degree in architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington after completing basic courses at Navarro.
PATRICK LLOYD
Miss Craig is a former Fairfield resident and the daughter of Brian and Melinda Craig.
She has been a 4-H member for 10 years, becoming a Wellness in Texas Master volunteer, has served in club, county and district leadership roles and has received the Danforth I Dare You and Gold Star awards.
Miss Craig also is involved in debate with the National Christian Forensics Communication Association, competing at the national level in San Diego, Calif.
The student plans to study business management at UT Arlington.
Lloyd is an Eagle Scout, has participated in volunteer and community service projects with Boy Scouts of America and has competed in 4-H food and nutrition projects.
He currently is attending TSTC where he is studying culinary arts.
