Busby

Funeral services were held Saturday for Herbert Earl Busby, who died May 16 at Parkview Regional Hospital. Viewing and a wake service was Friday, at Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home.

Officiating at the service, which was held at Antioch Asia Primitive Baptist Church in Teague, was Lonnie Pelton. Interment was at Asia Cemetery in Teague.

Mr. Busby was born April 24, 1964 in Teague, and was the seventh child born to the late Lee Bostic and the late Bessie Mae Busby. He graduated with the Teague high school class of 1983 and entered the job corp in San Marcus, receiving a certificate in automotive painting.

He was a custodian for the Teague Independent School District.

Mr. Busby was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Larry Busby and Don Ree Busby and his grandmother Rosie Lee Heggins.

He is survived by a brother Lester Wayne Busby and wife, Vashti, Mexia, sisters Phyllis Roblow, Teague, Darlene Busby, Temple, Bernadene Busby, Teague, Regina Hines, Arlington, Bridget Denise Busby, Waco, and Staffany Diane Busby, Temple;

Aunt Maggie Lee Howard, Houston, several great-aunts; eight nieces, 14 nephews, special friends Rhonda and Sidney; and a most devoted friend Norma Diaz, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
