Fairfield high school spring concert will be presented Monday night by members of the eighth grade band, and the Grand Band from Eagle Land.

Beginning at 7 p.m. at the FHS auditorium, the eighth grade band program includes "March of the Irish Guard", "Contempo", "Pirates of the Barbary Coast", and a selection performed with the high school band, "Don't Stop Believin'".

The high school band will perform "Trombone King", "Independence Day", "I Just Want to Celebrate", a salute to seniors with the FHS school song, and "American Riversongs".

A week later, on Monday, May 24, the concert series continues with performances by the fifth grade Recorders, and the award-winning sixth and seventh grade bands.

Awards will be presented to top musicians in each band.

Fairfield bands are under the direction of Bill Large, assisted by Russell Holland, Gust Witt and Paige Billings.
