A memorial service will be held Saturday at Griffin- Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield for Grady Louis Fruge, 75, of Oakwood, who died April 14.

Mr. Fruge was born August 17, 1934 in Evangeline, Louisiana to Ernest and Rhea Fruge.

He was a volunteer with the Butler Fire Department and Water Department.

He loved to work with the people of the Butler community.

Mr. Fruge is survived by his wife Sylvia Fruge of Fairfield, son Eric Fruge of Fairfield, sister Mary Holly of Dickinson, brothers John Fruge of Sacramento, California and Ernest Fruge Jr. of Castle Rock, Washington;

Friends Jack and Barbara Bolte, niece, Geraldine Trahan and several other nieces, nephews and friends.
