Sheriff's Report Number 484- Dep. Shaw to Donie on report of suspicious vehicle, occupied. DPS Purnell arrests DWI, with off-duty TPD Sykora's assistance, FM-27. Teague VFD to tree on fire, FCR-930. Deputies to disturbance outside of Yolanda's, Donie, 3 kids, 4 adults, beating on Coke machine, yelling. Sisters having problems, FM- 489, Deputy Clayton Aldrich deals with same.

Call comes in to Dispatcher Leslie…."Mommy, I called 911"…."No, you didn't"…."Hello?"….Yes, she did! TPD Howard to report of stolen money, Old Airport Road. Lady calls, found a strange deer stand on her property, turned over to Game Warden John Thorne. Unclaimed Emus, FM-80….15 years ago they were worth $10,000.00 apiece, and there were more buyers than birds…..Now, folks are turning them loose to save on the feed bill. And their value? Just about zero dollars today. In the 90's, everybody was going to get rich quick, sell out, and retire on the proceeds. Some made big bucks right at the first. But, as time went by and owners discovered that there really was little use for these imported creatures, and that a false market had been created with a boom or bust attitude…. Well, the bottom fell out.

THDEMS to West 84, 88 year old Lady feeling dizzy. FPD to report of Trespassing on S. Bateman. THDEMS to S. 10th, breathing troubles. Young man goes in truck stop at Dew, wanting to cash a check, owner starts checking on same, young man bolts through the door. Deputies to shooting scene, FCR-192, one man shot another, the aftermath of a divorce in the family, situation steaming for two years and finally erupted. One man flown by Doctor Chopper to hospital. Investigator, Deputies, Southern Oaks VFD and FEMS all involved.

FPD to husband fell in bathroom to assist getting him up, College Street. Young man overdoses, getting violent at ER. DPS Sandifer arrests DWI Love's. FPD Markham jails young Lady, failed to give correct name to Peace Officer. Report of two people laying on side of road, Old 75, north of Dew….checked by Dep. Robert Elom, stopped to rest, a little tired, walking to Colorado!

Dep. Aultman to FCR- 1040, 4-Wheeler stolen from barn. TPD Cox to report of man on Harley pulling small wagon down street behind his Harley….three small kids in same. Greyhound Bus Driver 911's, carrying a load of folks on IH-45, many just released from Huntsville, one really making him nervous. FEMS and Butler VFD to report of possible mental problems, Butler area. Deputy Aultman to stolen diesel, generators and GPS at business on US- 79. Lady on FCR-1235 reports hears someone in house, in every room in fact….Dep. Shaw to same, nothing nor no one located.

Deputy Shipley and JP Farris dealing with 17 year old girl who just over-medicated herself. FEMS to local Truck Stop, 24 year old trucker, chest pains, arm numb, dizzy. Teague VFD to Mulberry, tree fell on house. WPD Carter to N. 3rd, step mother/step daughter troubles. Loose horses in Leon county, passed on to them. THDEMS to Webb Avenue, seizures. Deputy Shipley to stolen oil field trailer, FCR-793, last seen a week ago.

Trailer recovered in Seagoville, told of same as stolen last week, know his identity, Warrant for multiple agencies will follow, believed part of a Dallas theft ring. DPS Putz jails DWI, West 84. TPD Sykora gets another, Lone Star Chevrolet, US-84. Cross arms down, no train in sight, Wortham, repair crew summoned. Fairfield VFD to grassfire on Church Street. Traffic Jam, Love's. Troubles on Roosevelt, TPD Sykora and Cordova to same.

Loud Music problems in Wortham on San Saba, WPD Peters to same. FPD and Deputies to report of Assault on Post Oak Road, subject fled scene, victim did not want to press charges. 911 Report of suspicious person knocking on door, Spruce, TPD Martin to same. Teague and Wortham VFD's to structure fire, getting into trees, Simsboro. THDEMS, Teague VFD, DPS Adams and Sandifer to accident, FM-80 at FCR-937.

Loose donkey, Mile 189. Wortham VFD and Mexia EMS to chest pains on West Trinity. Man standing in middle of FM-27, hollering at passing traffic. WPD Carter is close, stops to check him out, the man uses foul language at Officer Carter, flees afoot, jumps a fence, gives up, brought to Jail, Evading Arrest. Man at rural residence reports loss of cutting rig sometime over the last several months. DPS Purnell and Putz, and Dep. House deal with DWI Felony, FM-1364. One of those not really considered as too much of a prize catch….due to the fact that he had defecated in his clothing.

TPD Reed and DPS Putz to report of fighting in yard and street on Monroe. THDEMS to FM-1451, Lady fell, possibly broke ankle. Deputy Harrison to west 84, property owner says someone keeps cutting his gate lock, adding their own. Gas Drive-offs in Wortham. Teague and Jewett ambulances, Donie VFD and Doctor Chopper assisting trucker with big time chest pains, FCR-790.

Our Condolences to the Ireland Family for the loss of their Loved One. You never saw James without a smile. Husband, father, teacher. A large host will miss him at FISD. And another loss to our community, Big John Frazier. I can picture him now, bib overalls flapping in the wind while he styled around town on his motorcycle. A longtime TU employee, Grandpa, father and Husband, many, many friends. He met no strangers.

Dispute in Southern Oaks on where a property line lays, Dep. Shipley involved with same. Also to loose Hosses, FM-3059. 911 Call says big fight behind Comfort Inn in Buffalo, info relayed to Leon County. TPD Sykora and Martin to Loud Music on S. 5th. Apparently this had previously been a problem at this same residence. FEMS to Forrest Lane, 80 year old man very ill.

DPS Purnell and Putz pull up to vehicle stopped on shoulder, IH-45 Service Road. Occupant found to be intoxicated with plenty of liquid refreshment for a long siege….arrested, now in Jail. Deputy McClelland transports one female to Austin State Hospital. Controlled Burn no longer controlled, in fact it is spreading quick, FCR-311, Butler and Dew VFD's to same.

Deputy Travis Robertson stops motorist for bad driving on FM-1365. Found to have unsteady balance plus thick tongue. Deputy Robert Willis arrives on scene and they are able to ascertain the contents of an unlabeled prescription bottle, which turned out to be a small smorgasbord of brain affecting pills…Oxycotin, Xanex, etc., ground up Oxycotin ready for the vein, plus a bag full of syringes. Now in jail, two separate charges of Possession of Controlled Substance.

Deputy Elom to report of mysterious explosive sounds, FM-488. Missing 10 year old, FCR-743, turns up later, had been at a new friend's house. THDEMS, Teague VFD and Doctor Chopper assisting on 911 Call from Webb Avenue, high blood pressure and seizures. Streetman VFD and FEMS to FM-80, Lady in labor. Deputy Aultman to Assault case, FCR-540, one arrested. Deputies Diana Willis and James Barrentine to gate cut/ theft, US-84, adjoining locations.

911 Bounce from Grayson Street in Groesback, man walking down street and collapsed, transferred to Limestone County S.O. Another forwarded to Leon County S.O. on report of man fell 10 feet at coal mine.
