Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 31 at Calvary Baptist Church for Steven Keith Vandiver.

Mr. Vandiver passed away on March 28 in Dallas.

He was born November 3, 1961 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas to Don and Deanne Vandiver.

He graduated from Ennis High School in 1980 and from Tarleton State University in 1984.

Mr. Vandiver retired from the Corsicana Fire Department in 2007.

He was preceded in death by his mother in law, Sonda Whatley, grandparents, Author and Lilly Vandiver and Bert and Edith Carroll.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Teresa Whatley Vandiver of Fairfield;

Daughter, Christi Vandiver Oakes and husband Tommie of Donie; son, Cooper Keith Vandiver of Fairfield;

Parents, Don and Deanne Vandiver of Ennis;

Grandchildren, Annie and Ava Oakes of Donie; brother, Kerry Don Vandiver and wife, Karen of Ennis;

Brother in law, Kent Whatley and wife, Deborah of Fairfield; father in law, James Whatley and wife, Janie of Fairfield;

Aunt, Sherrie Minze of Streetman and uncle, Donald Carroll and wife, Linda of Streetman.
