(A summary of recent activity of Fairfield Police Department.)

March 29

12:10 a.m.—Officer Tiner assisted a Department of Public Safety trooper at a major wreck.

4:13 a.m.—Officer Markham to suspicious vehicle at school parking lot. Subject was sleeping.

7:20 a.m.—Officer Frasier to truck parked in roadway.

9:28 a.m.—Officer Frasier on report of 9-1-1 hang-up. Ambulance called for medical problem.

2:43 p.m.—Officer Frasier on report of 9-1-1 hang-up. Residence was vacant.

5:45 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of suspicious person.

6:50 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of subject passed out. Fairfield EMS called.

9:51 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of gas drive-off.

March 30

2:25 a.m.—Officer Kindon to suspicious subject.

8:50 a.m.—Officer Frasier arrested a subject on outstanding warrants out of the Fairfield municipal court.

9:25 a.m.—Officer Frasier dispatched to 420 Moody Street in reference to a hit-and-run.

6:55 p.m.—Officer Kindon assisted with traffic problems at Love’s Travel Center.

8:10 p.m.—Officer Kindon assisted with locating possible missing person.

March 31

7:55 a.m.—Cpl. Green assisted at a minor motor vehicle accident outside the city on east U.S. 84.

10 a.m.—Sgt. Warren filed cases with the county attorney’s office.

12:40 p.m.—Sgt. Warren, while on a traffic stop, arrested subject on outstanding warrants out of Childress.

2:40 p.m.—Officer Gallegos and Cpl. Green assisted with a funeral escort.

3:30 p.m.—Cpl. Green met with a complainant in reference to a possible burglary.

6:15 p.m.—Officer Markham cleared a traffic jam at Love’s.

9:15 p.m.—Officer Tiner to Fairfield Trucking on a suspicious vehicle.

April 1

9:40 a.m.—Cpl. Green met with a complainant in reference to having a criminal trespass warning issued.

10:15 a.m.—Officer Gallegos assisted DPS in locating a truck tossing rocks out of the back. Officers unable to locate.

1:18 p.m.—Cpl. Green responded to an alarm call on E. Main Street.

5:43 p.m.—Officer Tiner responded to a 9-1-1 hangup where one person was arrested on an assault family violence charge.

10:03 p.m.—Officer Markham attempted to locate a reckless driver.

11:10 p.m.—Officer Tiner responded to Pizza Hut restaurant in reference to an alarm. Building was found to be secure.

April 2

12:24 a.m.—Officer Tiner assisted a deputy sheriff with a traffic stop.

8:50 a.m.—Officer Frasier arrested a subject on city warrants.

10:30 a.m.—Sgt. Warren arrested a subject on city warrants.

12:47 p.m.—Officer Frasier on report of loud music.

2:15 p.m.—Officer Frasier on funeral escort.

2:30 p.m.—Officer Frasier assisted Fairfield EMS on medical emergency.

3:46 p.m.—Officer Frasier on report of subject throwing trash in the road. Advised to pick up.

10:37 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of vehicle traveling south in the northbound land of I-45. Unable to locate.

11:58 p.m.—Officer Gasaway and Sgt. Utsey attempted to locate a vehicle that was reported stolen in the county.

April 3

12:50 a.m.—Officers Gasaway and Kindon and Sgt. Utsey on report of subject that had been assaulted. Wife came and took care of him.

2:15 a.m.—Officer Gasaway to meet a complainant.

6:12 a.m.—Officer Frasier on report of someone knocking on front doors.

10:45 a.m.—Officer Frasier on report of vandalism.

11:02 a.m.—Officer Frasier to residence to meet a complainant.

2:14 p.m.—Officer Frasier out with subject at gas station with a cardboard sign asking for money. Subject was from California. Advised he could not do that.

7:43 p.m.—Officer Kindon and Sgt. Utsey assisted deputies on a domestic call on Post Oak Road.

9:15 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of missing property.

April 4

12:41 a.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of disturbance over a vehicle. Ended up all were happy.

5:50 a.m.—Officer Frasier assisted with a combative subject at East Texas Medical Center.

2:55 p.m.—Officer Frasier dispatched to S. Bateman Road in reference to criminal trespass.

3:33 p.m.—Officer Frasier recovered a stolen vehicle out of Lacey Lakeview.

6:30 p.m.—Officer Kindon met with a subject to receive a statement on stolen property.
