(A summary of recent activity of Fairfield Police Department.)

March 22

12:39 a.m.—Officer Frasier arrested subject on driving while intoxicated charge after conducting a traffic stop.

1:37 a.m.—Officer Markham responded to a possible noise complaint.

10:24 a.m.—Officer Tiner met with a complainant in reference to theft.

3:45 p.m.—Officer Tiner responded to S. Fairway in reference to a possible intoxicated driver.

3:55 p.m.—Sgt. Warren served a subpoena for an upcoming trial.

7:10 p.m.—Officer Gallegos responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars.

March 23

11:05 a.m.—Officer Tiner responded to Eddie’s Autobody and Tire in reference to a fire in the lobby.

11:45 a.m.—Officer Tiner assisted with a funeral escort.

10:15 p.m.—Officer Gallegos assisted a stranded motorist with a flat tire.

March 24

8:25 a.m.—Officer Markham, while on a traffic stop, arrested subject on an outstanding warrant on a family violence charge.

9 a.m.—Sgt. Warren presented cases to the grand jury for possible indictments.

2:35 p.m.—Officer Frasier dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles.

4:30 p.m.—Officer Markham dispatched to Love’s Travel Center in reference to traffic problems.

6 p.m.—Officer Gasaway dispatched to Love’s in reference to a traffic situation.

8:30 p.m.—Officer Gasaway assisted with finding a possible stolen vehicle.

March 25

12 a.m.—Officer Gasaway assisted a stranded motorist at the west service road of I- 45.

2:05 a.m.—Officer Kindon arrested a subject on an outstanding warrant out of Anderson county.

9:50 a.m.—Officer Frasier observed suspicious activity where a person was attempting to get into a vehicle with a screwdriver. Subject was identified and had locked his keys in the vehicle.

3:57 p.m.—Officer Frasier responded to Taco Bell restaurant in reference to an irate customer.

9:15 p.m.—Officer Kindon dispatched to Love’s in reference to traffic problems.

March 26

12:08 a.m.—Officer Gasaway arrested a subject on a public intoxication charge at I-45 Shell.

9:10 a.m.—Cpl. Green met with complainant in reference to welfare concern. Everything was found to be okay.

1:50 p.m.—Cpl. Green cleared a traffic jam at Love’s.

4:37 p.m.—Cpl. Green responded to Roadster Car Wash in reference to possible criminal mischief.

6 p.m.—Officer Markham, Cpl. Green and Sgt. Utsey responded to a 9- 1-1 call regarding a man in a front yard with a knife. Subject arrested on assault family violence charge and jailed.

7 p.m.—Officers conducted a tobacco compliance program where several of the retailers within the city sold tobacco products to a minor. The retailers that sold tobacco products were issued a Class C citation for their actions.

8:27 p.m.—Sgt. Utsey assisted at a motor vehicle accident.

11:06 p.m.—Officer Tiner observed an open gate at a business. Everything was found to be okay.

March 27

6:57 a.m.—Cpl. Green attempted to locate a reckless driver.

6:40 p.m.—Sgt. Warren met with complainants advising that their vehicle had been burglarized. The complainants advised that this happened in the county. All parties were advised to go to the sheriff’s office to file a report.

1:30 p.m.—Cpl. Green assisted with a funeral escort.

3:05 p.m.—Cpl. Green assisted with a funeral escort.

7:57 p.m.—Officers responded to a 9-1-1 hangup that was later found to be in the City of Teague.

11:22 p.m.—Officer Tiner met with a complainant in reference to a terroristic threat.

March 28

2:56 a.m.—Officers Tiner and Markham responded to Gilberto’s restaurant where three occupants were attempting to get in. A key holder was contacted and advised that the subjects were hired to repaint the inside.

7:30 a.m.—Cpl. Green met with a complainant in reference to a criminal trespass being issued.

8:58 a.m.—Cpl. Green to police department to meet a complainant.

4:40 p.m.—Cpl. Green to jail to meet a complainant.

4:46 p.m.—Cpl. Green to gas station on report of suspicious subject. Unable to locate.

5:10 p.m.—Cpl. Green to police department to meet a complainant.

6:30 p.m.—Officer Tiner to meet a complainant on threats made.

9:44 p.m.—Officer Tiner to truck stop to assist Fairfield EMS.
