Applicator class set for April 9
Texas Agrilife Extension Service of Freestone county will provide private applicator training for those who wish to use restricted pesticides to aid them in the production of an agricultural commodity.
A Texas Department of Agriculture representative will also be present to administer the license exam immediately following the training.
Training will be held on Friday, April 9, at the Freestone County Sheriff’s Training Center on U.S. 84 between Fairfield and Teague.
Registration starts at 7:30 a.m.
Those wishing to participate must call the Freestone County Extension office at 903- 389-3436 by Wednesday, April 7, to reserve a spot.
Cost for the training is $25 and includes a manual that must be picked up at the office before the course starts.
