CAR sets March 21 meet

National Society Children of the American Revolution met recently to hear a program called National Observances, a presentation about why some of the nation’s holidays are celebrated.

The meeting was called to order by president Cady Cotton, and invocation was given by Chad Baize. Last meeting’s minutes were read by Emily Walker and a treasury report was offered by Carson Cotton

After the program, CAR members discussed the new nominating committee, which will include Jonathan Hardin DAR members Diane McDonald, Rita Walker, and Nancy Rula. The meeting was closed with a benediction given by Emily Walker.

Next meeting will be held on March 21 at 2:00 p.m.
