Bonnets, cakes to be judged at center

A cake contest and an Easter bonnet competition are on tap soon at the Meals on Wheels/Palestine Senior Activity Center.

Events will be held at the center, located at 200 N. Church St..

Cake judging is March 20 and includes several divisions. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places. Proceeds will benefit the Meals on Wheels program.

An Easter bonnet competition will be held at the center’s annual Easter party, set April 1 at 10:30 a.m.

Easter bonnets, which should be completed when brought to the party, will be judged by most creative, most beautiful and wackiest.
