Funeral services for Mrs. Robbie Knight, 91, will be held Thursday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Kenneth Henbest will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Antioch Cemetery in the Luna Community.

Visitation was held Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Knight passed away Monday, March 1, 2010, at her residence in Teague. She was born and raised in Freestone county and lived in the Luna community almost all of her life. Mrs. Knight was a dedicated homemaker and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, and helping her husband with farming and raising livestock for many years.

Mrs. Knight was a member of the Freestone Church of Christ.

She is survived by one son, Tommy Elwood Knight and wife Sandy of Houston; one daughter, Lynda Knight Benton of Teague;

Granddaughters, Terri Fulton Collins and husband David of Teague and Carey Golden and husband Rick of Pearland; one granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Fulton of Whitehouse; one grandson, Clint Knight and wife Lara of Houston; eleven great-grandchildren, Tyler Brown of College Station, Andrew Collins, Caitlyn Collins, both of Teague,

Shane Fulton, Brooke Fulton, Joey Fulton, all of Whitehouse, Katy Fiorello, Ashley Fiorello, Brooke Golden, Megan Golden, all of Pearland, and Emily Knight of Houston; one sister, Bobbie Combs of Westfield, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Kimble Knight, grandson, Gregg Fulton, and brother, Lee Dell Knight.
