A ribbon cutting ceremony was hosted by Fairfield chamber of commerce last week to mark the recent move of State Farm Insurance agent Will Harmark to a new office.

Hallmark moved his office from a location on west U.S. 84 to new quarters at 427 E. Commerce Street.

The office formerly was a 2-bedroom house that was completely gutted and remodeled last year.

The 1,750 square foot space includes three private offices, conference room, computer/workroom, kitchen and lobby.

A paved parking area and landscaping was added in front.

Hallmark moved to Fairfield in April 2004 when he bought the State Farm agency from David Rice.

Prior to buying the agency, he worked out of the State Farm corporate office in Tyler as a life insurance specialist.

The agency in Fairfield sells life, health, home, car, worker’s compensation, business and farm and ranch insurance.

In addition, through State Farm Bank, Hallmark offers mutual funds, annuities, home mortgages, certificates of deposit and money market accounts.

The Fairfield business owner and wife Danica are parents of two children, 4- celebrated

year-old Trip and 7-monthold Trinity.

Outside work, Hallmark enjoys bird hunting, deer hunting and fishing.

He served four years as a chamber of commerce director and has been a member of Fairfield Rotary Club.
