ANDREW DAILEY Freestone county native Andrew Dailey of Bakersfield, Calif., recently celebrated his 94th birthday in Las Vegas, Nev., with family and friends.

Dailey was reared in the Young’s Mill area north of Fairfield, enlisted in the army in 1941 and was honorably discharged from service in 1943.

He has lived in Bakersfield for 46 years and is a senior member of St. John Baptist Church, where he attends Sunday school and worship service almost every week.

Joining Dailey for his birthday celebration were his daughter and son-inlaw, grandson and other family members and friends.
