(A summary of recent activity of Fairfield Police Department.)

February 15

1:15 a.m.—Officer Gallegos to open gate.

2:10 a.m.—Officer Gallegos assisted a deputy sheriff on a traffic stop.

10:29 a.m.—Officer Gasaway to Love’s Travel Center with a customer irate the ATM and cash registers were down due to telephones not working.

7:55 p.m.—Officer Markham to suspicious vehicle. All okay.

8:34 p.m.—Officer Markham on 9-1-1 hangup. Kids playing on the phone.

11:49 p.m.—Officer Frasier to open gate.

11:58 p.m.—Officer Frasier to suspicious subject.

February 16

12:06 a.m.—Officers Markham and Frasier on report of vehicle in parking lot and employees afraid to leave. Subject had been traveling, stopped and went to sleep.

9 a.m.—Officer Gasaway arrested a subject on warrants.

12:55 p.m.—Officers Gasaway and Kindon on report of alarm at business sounding. All okay.

2:15 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on alarm sounding at residence. Wind had blown door open.

6:34 p.m.—Officer Frasier on traffic jam at Love’s.

11:51 p.m.—Officer Markham to suspicious vehicle.

February 17

3:12 a.m.—Officer Frasier to suspicious vehicle.

4:01 p.m.—Officer Tiner on report of irate customer at restaurant. Unable to locate.

7:57 p.m.—Officer Gallegos on report of vehicle traveling without taillights. Unable to locate.

8:05 p.m.—Officer Gallegos on report of subject falling at service station. Fairfield EMS contacted.

8:18 p.m.—Officer Gallegos on report of missing property.

11:06 p.m.—Officer Gallegos on report of fight in parking lot of club. Nobody there when arrived.

February 18

12:03 a.m.—Officer Gallegos to suspicious vehicle.

12:17 a.m.—Officer Gallegos on report of suspicious vehicle behind residence. Nobody located.

8:50 a.m.—Officer Tiner on truck broken down in roadway.

9:21 a.m.—Officer Tiner on report of three trucks driving reckless. Unable to locate.

February 19

1:50 a.m.—Officer Gallegos assisted a deputy with a combative subject that was on drugs.

3:28 a.m.—Officer Gallegos on report of fight in progress. No fight taking place.

3:45 a.m.—Officer Gallegos assisted a deputy at East Texas Medical Center emergency room with subject causing problems.

8:54 a.m.—Officer Kindon on report of subject having problems with dogs in trash.

2:30 p.m.—Officers Kindon and Gasaway assisted with a funeral escort.

4:14 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of kitchen fire. Vent caught fire.

5 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of stolen trailer.

8:19 p.m.—Officer Frasier to suspicious person.

9:31 p.m.—Officer Frasier on report of subject drinking beer at baseball field.

11:31 p.m.—Officer Frasier and Sgt. Utsey on report of kids drinking. Located and had parents contacted to come get them.

February 20

2:31 a.m.—Officer Frasier to suspicious vehicle.

4:46 a.m.—Officer Frasier on report of suspicious person hanging around a business. He was waiting on a ride.

7:56 a.m.—Officer Gasaway on car alarm sounding. All okay.

8:30 a.m.—Officer Kindon on report of reckless driver.

9:38 a.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of 9-1-1 hang-up. Was kids playing with phone.

12:30 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of kids riding go-cart in the road.

12:35 p.m.—Officer Kindon on welfare concern. Made entry and found subject lying on the floor. Fairfield EMS transported to emergency room.

12:40 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of loud music.

9:37 p.m.—Officer Frasier, Sgt. Utsey and officer from Buffalo with unruly subject at emergency room. After a short scuffle, the subject got to go to jail charged with public intoxication.

February 21

12:10 a.m.—Officer Frasier and Sgt. Utsey on report of deceased person.

12:50 a.m.—Officer Fasier arrested a subject for driving after having too much to drink.

8:35 a.m.—Officer Gasaway assisted with a medical emergency.

4 p.m.—Officer Gasaway met with a complainant in reference to stolen property.

10:25 p.m.—Officer Frasier observed open doors at Bonner Laundry.

11:01 p.m.—Officers responded to Shady Oaks in response to an unruly subject. Officers arrested subject on a public intoxication charge.
