Seven Freestone county students have been named to the Dean’s List for Fall 2009 studies at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.

The Dean’s List consists of fulltime students earning a 3.5 grade average for the semester.

Earning the honor from Fairfield are: Carrie McDonald, senior interdisciplinary studies major; and Janet E. Rogers, senior kinesiology-teacher major.

Teague students making the Dean’s List are: Dee Anne Ellwood, senior English major; Traci George, junior accounting major; Heather Pope, senior studio art major; and Ariel Sears, sophomore accounting major.

Four of the Freestone county students, Ellwood, Evans, George and McDonald, also made the President’s Honor Roll.

Students on the President’s Honor Roll must earn a perfect 4.0 grade average for the semester.
