In the Jan. 7 edition of The Fairfield Recorder, Democratic Primary candidate Sharon Gibson was reported, in error, as being a deputy county clerk.

Mrs. Gibson has worked as a temporary clerk in another county office, but not in the office of county clerk.

The Recorder regrets the error.
