Freestone County Art League will meet this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall in Teague. Members should bring paints, brushes, canvas and a picture with some trees they wish to paint. Ruth Simmons Bomer will demonstrate how to paint trees and assist anyone who needs help with their painting. She studied art at McLennan Community College in Waco and The Art Foundation in Engram,Texas and has taught art for 20 years. Members are encouraged to bring guests and the meeting is open to the public. Hostesses for the meeting will be Jo Wren and Marie Hertenberger and refreshments will be served.
