Linda Ann Wills Fryer
Funeral services were held Dec. 31 for Linda Ann Wills Fryer of Mansfield, formerly of Fairfield, who died Dec. 28 in Dallas.
Buddy Turner officiated at the service, held at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial followed at Fairfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Fryer, 66, was born Feb. 22, 1943 in Teague to L. Carter Wills and Frances Louise Wharton Wills. She was a graduate of Teague high school, and married Charles Fryer on Dec. 23, 1960 in Teague.
For the past several years, Mrs. Fryer has been a realtor in Mansfield. She loved to travel, fish, and work with flowers, and to come home to the family farm and feed and check on the cows.
Mrs. Fryer was preceded in death by her parents Carter Wills and Frances Wills.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years Charles Fryer of Mansfield, sons Russell Fryer and wife Robin of Burleson, and Scott Fryer of Dallas, grandson Peyton Fryer of Burleson;
Sisters Nelda Patton and husband Bill of Mansfield, and Mitzi Griffin and husband Jim of Burleson, as well as a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial book is available. Arrangements were made by Griffin- Roughton Funeral Home, Fairfield.
