MARY M. BROWDER

Mary M. Browder of Tyler and formerly of Richland Chambers Lake, passed away on Tuesday, December 15 at her residence at the age of 83.

She was born on August 26, 1926 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Homer and Amanda Berly Goza. She was a bookkeeper for many years working at the time of his retirement for an oil field construction company.

Mrs. Browder loved to entertain friends and family, read, and play cards. She was involved in civic organizations like the Richland Chambers Historical Society, Richland Chambers Community Care, and as a director of the Professional Ladies Organization.

Mrs. Browder is survived by her husband of 55 years Jack Browder of Tyler, sister Donna McCoy and husband Gene, brother Leroy Bishop and wife Pat, niece Lisa Morgan and husband Brett, and nephews and their wives Cody Bishop, Chad Bishop, Clay Bishop, Charles Burns, and Buddy Burns, and many friends.

Funeral services were held at Lakeside United Methodist Church in Winkler on December 17 with Rev. Sandy Hippman officiating. Burial was at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
