MEAGAN LINTON AND MICHAEL DEFRANCE Robert Linton of Tyler and Tammi Linton of Fairfield have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Meagan Linton to Michael DeFrance.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of John and Helen DeFrance of Fairfield. He is a 2001 graduate of Fairfield high school, and earned his associate in applied science degree from Navarro College in 2003.

DeFrance is employed with Fairfield Tractor.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Fairfield high school, and earned an associate in applied science degree in nursing in 2009 from Tyler Junior College. She is employed at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

The wedding will be held Feb. 6, 2010 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Fairfield. Friends and family are invited to attend.
