Two Freestone county students earned degrees from UT Tyler in fall commencement exercises held last week in Tyler.

They were among 741 candidates recognized, according to president Rodney H. Mabry.

James Michael Grissett of Fairfield and Margaret Nicole Hagen of Teague each received bachelor of science degrees in nursing.
