Mary Frances Robinson

Services were held Friday, Dec. 11 at First Baptist Church of Fairfield for Mary Frances Robinson, 71, of Fairfield, who died Dec. 9 in Tyler.

Benny Mize officiated. Interment followed at Eureka Cemetery near Corsicana.

Mrs. Robinson was born December 27, 1937 in Corsicana, to parents Richard W. and Leona Daniel Montgomery. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1955 as class valedictorian and attended TCU on a full music scholarship. She was retired from Sam’s Restaurant where she worked as a waitress for many years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairfield, and for a number of years played piano for First Baptist Church of Kirvin.

Mrs. Robinson was known for her love of Fairfield high school athletics and was an avid member of the Fairfield High School Band Boosters. She was also a member of the red-hatters.

Survivors are children Dana McNeal of Dallas and Dave Davlin and wife Traci of San Antonio, brother Dan Montgomery of Fredricksburg, grandson Theo Davlin and greatgranddaughter Telee Davlin.

The family requests memorials be made to the Fairfield High School Band Boosters.
