Funeral services were held Saturday for Clarence Ray Shed, 42, who died Dec. 6 at Doctor’s Hospital in Dallas. The services were at First Baptist Church of Fairfield, with David Ransom, Sr. officiating. Interment was at Bethel Sand Hill Cemetery, also in Fairfield.

Mr. Shed was born Sept. 24, 1967. He graduated with the Fairfield High School class of 1986, and was employed by Texas Steel of Ft. Worth and the Gilford-Hill Co.

Survivors are his fiancee’, Mary Wright; son Eric Hudson, daughters Alonna Shed, Brittany Green, Beatrice Shed and Tymenka Hudson; brothers Robert Shed and wife, Stephanie, Llewelyn Shed, Emzelle Shed, Jr. and wife, Colessa, and Derek and Jamall Shed; sister Casandra Newton; Uncles Burnis Shed and wife, Lena-Rae, Frank Shed and wife, Vicki, and Bobby Rogers; aunts Mattie and husband, Undre, Sylvia Lee and husband, Larry, Rosemary Skinner, Veetria Grand, Eddie V. Jones and husband, Herbert, and Malinda Scott and husband, Curly.
