Wortham high school, in cooperation with Carter Bloodcare, is hosting a blood drive from noon until 6 p.m. Friday.

The drive will be at the Central Presbyterian Church fellowship hall.

Potential donors must be at least 17 years old, 16 with a parent’s consent, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good general health.

People who give blood should eat a nourishing meal before donating and must present a photo ID.
