Five new members have been elected to the Fairfield chamber of commerce.

Balloting for the posts was conducted last month and the new directors will assume their duties at the January board meeting.

Elected to 3-year terms are Frank Freeman of Wells Fargo Bank, Mark Chavers of Eagle Insurance, Chad Morgan of Jackson Morgan LLP, Susan Marberry of SMC Home Health and Daniel Munoz of Luminant Big Brown Mine.

The new board members were elected from a slate of 10 nominees.

Carryover directors are first vice president Mary Small, second vice president Vanessa Dotson, treasuerer Jason Hullum, Sonny Daniel, Gary Trammell, Clark Fryer, Sherry Nichols, Charlene Ward, David Fowler and Amy Ralston.

Going off the board this year are president Gail Farish, Andy Awalt, Mary Dodd, Tina Utley and Amanda York.

Board members will elect new officers this month.
