(A summary of recent activity of Fairfield Police Department.)

November 30

9:45 a.m.—Officer Tiner assisted a stranded motorist on E. Commerce Street.

1:25 p.m.—Officer Tiner arrested a subject during a traffic stop on outstanding warrants out of the City of Fairfield.

1:50 p.m.—Cpl. Green assisted a stranded motorist on E. Main Street.

December 1

2:50 a.m.—Officers Markham and Gallegos dispatched to Jack-in-the- Box restaurant on a possible disturbance.

9 a.m.—Sgt. Warren presented a case to the grand jury.

9:55 a.m.—Cpl. Green assisted a stranded motorist.

11:01 a.m.—Officer Tiner assisted medics with a medical call concerning a man with low blood sugar.

11:25 a.m.—Cpl. Green met with a complainant at the police department in reference to a possible forgery.

1:55 p.m.—Officers respond to a business in reference to a man with a gun.

11:15 p.m.—Officers Gallegos and Markham dispatched to Love’s Travel Center in reference to a criminal trespass.

December 2

3:30 a.m.—Officer assisted a stranded motorist who had run out of gas.

11:05 a.m.—Officer Kindon responded to Johnny Moore Welding on a civil standby.

1:15 p.m.—Officer Kindon assisted medics with a woman that had fallen and could not get to the door.

2:45 p.m.—Officer Frasier dispatched to Brookshire Brothers supermarket in reference to a possible burglary.

6:18 p.m.—Officer Gasaway met with complainants at the police department in reference to a civil matter.

10:01 p.m.—Officer Gasaway assisted with a suspicious vehicle parked at Laquinta Inn.

December 3

5:35 a.m.—Officer Kindon dispateched to I-45 in reference to a truck driver all over the roadway. Unable to locate.

7:30 a.m.—Officer Kindon and Sgt. Warren dispatched to Performance Ford in reference to an open door.

9:25 a.m.—Officer Frasier assisted medics on S. Fairway where he had to make entry into a residence where the owner was found to have low blood sugar and was unable to respond.

9:40 a.m.—Officer Kindon dispatched to west U.S. 84 in front of Performance Ford in reference to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars.

2:05 p.m.—Fairfield PD, along with Department of Public Safety Narcotics Division personnel, served a search warrant on a suspected crack house where one subject was arreseted on a charge of possession of controlled substances.

11 p.m.—Officer Gasaway arrested a subject on a driving while intoxicated charge.

December 4

4:33 p.m.—Officers Markham and Gallegos spoke with a complainant in reference to a suspicious person.

5:50 p.m.—Sgt. Utsey responded to an alarm in the 1000 block of W. Commerce.

8:45 p.m.—Cpl. Green and Sgt. Utsey responded to an alarm on Reunion Street.

December 5

11:04 a.m.—Officers respond to Main Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle.

1:20 p.m.—Officers Markham and Gallegos met with complainants in reference to child custody. They were advised it was a civil matter and to get a lawyer.

4 p.m.—Officers Markham and Gallegos met with a complainant in reference to telephone harassment.

8:40 p.m.—Sgt. Warren dispatched to Commerce and Hall streets in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. They were just admiring the Christmas lights.

10:40 p.m.—Sgt. Warren assisted medics with a possible heart attack victim.

December 6

12:05 a.m.—Sgt. Warren assisted a stranded motorist on west U.S. 84.

8:13 a.m.—Officers Markham and Gallegos responded to an alarm at Taco Bell restaurant.

10:40 a.m.—Officers Markham and Gallegos responded to a 9-1-1 call on Oak Street.

10:55 a.m.—Officers Gallegos and Markham dispatched to Keechi Street in reference to loose animals. The owners were issued a citation for dog at large.

3:23 p.m.—Officers Markham and Gallegos assisted a woman at Love’s that had locked her child in the vehicle.

4:50 p.m.—Officers Markham and Gallegos assisted deputies in an attempt to find a trailer hauling a horse where the horse was lying in the trailer in a compromising way.
