Services for Leslie Howard Rowell, 70, of Minco, Okla. were held Nov. 28 at the Hazel Dell Baptist Church NW of Minco. Mr. Rowell died Nov. 25 at Parkview Hospital in El Reno.

Rev. Al Dorrough officiated at the service, with burial at the Hazel Dell Cemetery.

Mr. Rowell was born April 23, 1939 at Hermitage, Ark. to Fred and Gordie (McDougald) Rowell.

He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Gravel Ridge, Ark., and moved to Minco from Texas in 1973.

Married to Brenda Carr Mar. 6, 1959, Mr. Rowell was a retired truck driver, and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Penny Shepherd.

Survivors are Mr. Rowell's wife, Brenda Rowell of Minco, sons Tracy Rowell of Dew, and Lex and Neawa Rowell of Minco, daughters Tammy and Jay Sarrett, and Deana and Cleo Smith, all of Minco;

Nieces Melinda and Roy Blevins of Chickasha, and Susie and Audie Ruthardt of Minco, 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco is in charge of arrangements.
