SHARING LUNCH AND BOOKS, fourth grade students with birthdays are, front, Kendal Crawford, and back l-r, Pamela Henderson and Madison Akers. Monthly birthday book club was held Nov. 24 at Fairfield elementary school and honored nine students.

Celebrating are Tate House, Matti Higgs, Raegan Emmons, Gary Nichols, Will Parker, Hayden Ward, Kendal Crawford, Pamela Henderson and Madison Akers.

Each month, the birthday students have lunch with Ms. Evans, the media specialist, and decorate cupcakes. Afterwards, they each check out their birthday book to take home and share with family members, before returning it the next day and donating it back to the library.
