LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Dear Editor:

On October 28 about 10 a.m. on a windy morning, our family received news that we don't wish upon anyone. We were out minding our own business, as a matter of fact is was a day as usual. The sheriff's office contacted us to inform us that our only biological son, Marcus Hatcher, was killed in a car wreck.

Our hearts were broken, and are yet broken to this day. But, the love that was shown to us by the police force, the funerla home owner Mr. Fox of Capps Funeral Home, family and friends is helping us accept what God allowed.

We, the Hatcher family, wish to express our gratitude to the First Baptist Church on Reunion Street in Fairfield, where the pastor is Pastor Kenneth Pruitt, and his staff for allowing us to celebrate our son's homegoing, Pastor P.A. Rischer for preaching the celebratory message, Pastor Carlos Daniels for keeping the atmosphere just right, the combined choirs that sang praises to the Lord, the joyful music, a host of preachers near and far that came to show their love, the Cox's Funeral Home of Huntsville, our church family and friends.

Thank you for the flowers, food, your prayers, your encouraging words, phone calls, your smiles and even your silence. Our family wouldn't have made it through the trying times without Jesus and friends like you.

If we could tell you anything, it would be to love each other everyday because you never know when it's going to be your last time.

Keep praying for Earl and Hattie Hatcher and their children, and remember to love as if it is your last time loving.
Thanks,
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hatcher
