A Dickens of a Christmas, holiday activities around the square, is scheduled this year for Saturday, Dec. 5, and will begin about 5 p.m.

Featured are a parade, music, late night shopping, and visits with Santa. The event is sponsored by the City of Fairfield, and the Fairfield chamber of commerce.
