To raise funds to rehabilite the Wortham city park, Wortham Economic Development Corporation is holding "Music in the Park" this Saturday.

The event is from 4-11 p.m. at the park on Hwy. 14 next to First United Methodist Church.

Plans for the park are to build an outdoor volleyball court, replace playground equipment and build a pavilion.

Hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks will be on sale during the event and a cake auction is planned.
