Sheriff's Report Number 460- Butler VFD on standby in case needed in Anderson County as they have a pickup with driver inside, trapped in flood waters, their county. Dep. Aldrich runs loose cow back through fence, FM-27. Multiple calls over weekend on bad driving over weekend. FEMS to First Baptist, man with possible heart attack. Lady on Cypress reports house burglarized, TPD Sykora and Martin to same.
THDEMS to assist man, weak, can't walk. FEMS and Butler VFD to address on FM-489, chest pains, doing CPR, Doctor Chopper summoned. Loose cow, FM- 1365. FEMS to local eatery, worker very ill. DPS Zotz to accident, US-287. Rail Crossing malfunction, BNSF has crew enroute for repair. Hemale/Shemale Troubles, FCR-1259, both seeing their attorneys tomorrow. Missing child located near Oakwood.
Am presently undergoing one of life's most stressful times….Trying to get the hang of a new cell phone. My old one finally laid down. This new one is nothing similar to the old….wish it was.
Deputies Shipley and Yancy to the report of a stolen welder on South 75 in the Dew area. FEMS to Probation Department, someone just fell in hallway. To Mexia with Happy and Suzanne, promised I would buy their meal…..Then somebody else beat me to the punch….Now I'm still owing them one. Man turns self in at Jail on five Fairfield Traffic Warrants and 40 days on Probation Troubles.
Repo Joe at work overnight in the County. Dep. Harrison helps motorist, IH-45, tire troubles. Two men jailed by Bailiff Dusty Brewer straight from Court, Non-Payment of Child Support. Man arrested for leaving unattended car partially in roadway, keys in same at the Rest Area. It seems that the male driver had exited his vehicle and got in the sleeper cab of an 18-Wheeler with another driver…..By the way, before you wonder, no, this truck driver was not a female….Just two fellers….I'll go no further.
Strong smell of gas reported by Lady on Hwy. 179, Teague VFD to same. Lady said the smell woke her up, smelled like garlic or something…..Fireman Brian Teer calls back in a few minutes, windows all now open, fans evacuating the air…..No, was not a gas smell…..The Firemen were all in agreement that it was the peculiar smell that always emanates from the south end of those small, nocturnal, black with white stripe furry creatures that most of us refer to as skunks.
THDEMS to 33 year old man with chest pains, US- 84. Deputy Elom to loose cattle, FM-2547. Fairfield PD to report of two OnCor locks cut. FEMS to local Head Start, three year old boy unconscious. 911 call to Dispatch advises child under two years just ate Electrosol Dishwashing tablet, Poison Control advised give lots of water. Loren Miller to Kirvin, Pit Bull Troubles at Kirvin Baptist Church on Main.
DPS Putz arrests DWI on Main, Teague. TPD Howard to Ash, Hemale/Shemale Troubles. FEMs to Lady who fell, hand injured, Moody at 75. TPD Howard to parking troubles on Main. Five missing yearlings, FM- 489 West. Game Warden Thorne notified of injured deer, Mile 193. Lady on FCR-490 has cat up tree, can't get it to come down. No Ma'am, no need for the fire truck you request….When he gets hungry and thirsty, he'll be down in a flash.
Cows reported out in both Navarro and Limestone Counties….Glad to hear it, was beginning to think we had the monopoly on that problem, but we don't. Local man builds new deer stand, getting ready for deer season. Another party, unknown, apparently too lazy to build his own, steals it, US-84 at FCR-606.
Water reported over upper end of FM-246, Navarro County notified. Two welders stolen at new school construction site, N. Fairway, FPD to same. FPD Kindon arrests drunk man on VFW parking lot. Barking dogs on Concho, WPD Carter to same. High water at the Teague overpass. Electricity off, FM- 833, electric company called.
Hemale/Shemale Troubles on San Saba, WPD Carter to same, one got struck but nobody wants to file charges. Vehicle hydroplanes, Mile 189. Inmate transport to/from Jefferson County. DPS Zotz jails motorist on Limestone Warrant, US-84. Dep. Hendrix to report of stolen 4-Wheeler, FCR-751, while owner out of town. Kirvin VFD and FEMS to assist man following surgical procedure. Lady turns self in at Jail on Trespassing Warrant.
FEMS and Dew VFD to FCR-380, respiratory troubles. TPD Howard to Ash, disagreement between Lady and man, she was washing her clothes at his house, now he won't let her have them. Lady shooting at possum, N. Ross, Streetman, Officer Carter to same. Dep. Robert Willis stops speeder Hwy. 179, three other occupants, Meth found under seat wrapped well with tape. All four to Jail, Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance.
To Jones Chapel Methodist Church for Breakfast and meeting with area Church leaders. This was in conjunction with Fairfield #1 Church of God in Christ, all headed up by Aldessa Bass. A gathering to make our area a better place to live. The program was excellent and there are plans to continue with program. That is how you get things done; bringing a group of people together, brainstorming ideas will follow, next will come positive action. Two educators, myself and a prosecutor from Dallas all spoke, then fielded questions from the audience.

Pickup, possibly a gray Dodge, just cut runs in a Lady's yard and over new water lines, FCR-970. Dep. Shipley frees buck caught in fence, FM-833. Also to missing items, FCR-1051. DPS Purnell to roll-over, FM-489, driver AWOL. Deputy House and Fairfield VFD to fire, FM-488. Dep. Elom to report of stolen trailer, FM-27.
Teague Parkfest appeared to be a big success. A very large group of people gathered, all having fun, enjoying the pretty weather, of which there was a multitude. Saw many old friends and had a very enjoyable time.
TPD Reed arrests passenger in stopped vehicle on Warrant, N. 7th. Tree limbs dumped in Lady's yard, FCR-1250. TPD Sykora to problems with unruly parent at football field. Boyfriend hollering and cussing, refusing to leave, FCR-851, Dep. Jeremy Shipley to same.
Congratulations to Gary Stephenson upon receiving his 50 Year Masonic pin. Also to Sam Bournias, Jim Plantt, Ben Calloway and Zack Newman upon the presentation of their 25 Year Awards. A big crowd present for the festivities, including Family Members. Intoxicated, depressed man needs someone to talk to. Lady on Atwood finds a strange bicycle in her driveway, TPD Noll to same.
Missing Kool Aid, Wortham. TPD Sykora and DPS Zotz to Jail with two individuals from different arrests, pipes loaded with the wrong stuff. FPD Gallegos arrests man at residence on Traffic Warrants. TPD Sykora to Cypress, threats between two women.
