Computer sales and repairs are available in Fairfield at Call 4 Computers, a full service business located here since 1998.

The business recently moved to a new location, and joined the Fairfield chamber of commerce.

Owned by Rod Norton, Call 4 Computers is a retail and service store, and offers new computers, upgrades, repairs, virus removal, networking, wireless setup, and online backup services. Onsite services are also available for home and business.

Norton grew up in Alaska, then began his computer career in 1993 in Redmond, Washington, down the road from Microsoft.

Fluent in Spanish, he sold computers internationally during the early 1990s. He moved to the complete business service side developing long-term relationships with companies including Walt Disney Imagineering and providing all computers to the NBA for five years before moving to the Fairfield area, where he has family, in 1998.

A Teague native, Julie White went to work for Call 4 Computers in 2005. Hired to manage the newly opened retail side of the business, Ms. White also works on computers brought in by individuals. She has two children, Rhianna and Dylan.

Norton and Ms. White stay up to date on the ever changing issues related to computers.

"We know your computer is important to you, so we do all we can to get your computer repaired as quickly as possible," Ms. White says, "But more importantly, we fix it right."

Call 4 Computers is located on Old Palestine Road toward Lakewood subdivision on the right side.
