Wortham sets cleanup day

City of Wortham annual Citywide Cleanup will be held next Saturday, Oct. 10.

A garbage truck will go house to house on that day beginning at 8 a.m.

A garbage truck and wood chipper will also be located on 2nd Street, next to the Gymnastics building, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Residents will need to provide a driver's license and city water bill for disposing on 2nd Street.

Items not accepted are freon, batteries, tires, motor oil, gasoline, paint, paint cans, pesticides or any hazardous materials of any kind.
