Funeral held for retired FISD head

Funeral services were held Friday for retired Fairfield Independent School District superintendent Aaron David Whitaker, Jr., who died Tuesday, Sept. 22. Council okays FIDC budget of $469,145

A $469,145.00 budget for the Fairfield Industrial Development Corporation was approved for fiscal year 2009-2010 by Fairfield city council members last week.
