Caney Baptist Church

Caney Baptist Church congregation will host their annual Fall Celebration this Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Gospel music will be provided by area groups, and a free catered lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attend.

The church is located in Fairfield on FM 833, two miles west of interstate 45. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. and morning worship starts at 11 a.m. with a nursery provided. Church pastor is Don Vail.

New Zion

On October 4th at 3:00 p.m., the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church will present their annual choir program, "Order My Steps In Your Word."

The guest churches will give "A" Selections.

Rev. Derrick Lott, from South Union Baptist Church in Palestine, will give God's gospel message.

Rev. Sammy McGuire is New Zion's Senior Pastor; Rev. Richard Canada is the Associate Pastor; and Gerald Griffin is the President. Sister Ella Mae Lee is Past President, and Irene Slaughter is the Chairperson.

Jones Chapel

Jones Chapel will celebrate their annual Choir Day Musical this Saturday at 7 p.m.

Minister Brent Polk will serve as master of ceremonies and will host many special guests.
