Freestone Central Appraisal District property appraiser Dan Ralstin recently received his designation as a Certified Tax Administrator from the Institute of Certified Tas Administrators.

The designation was awarded at the Texas Association of Assessing Officers annual conference held in Houston.

To obtain the designation, Ralstin was required to earn credits from state certified courses in appraisal, tax assessment and collections, as well as property tax administration.

"I am happy to have Dan as a member of my staff," FCAD chief appraiser Bud Black says. "By obtaining this additional knowledge, he is more empowered to professionally perform his duties to the district and its citizens."

Ralstin has been licensed as a Registered Professional Appraiser with the state since 2005 and has been employed at FCAD since that time.
