Elvis returns to Teague next month
Elvis Presley is returning to Teague next month for an engagement at the Teague Community Center.
Sponsored by the Teague Historical Preservation Society, the concert will be held Oct. 17 beginning at 6 p.m.
The fundraiser will also include dinner, with roast chicken, new potatoes, pinto beans, French bread and dessert.
A 2-hour event, the concert features Elvis impersonator Terry Edwards.
Tickets are $25 each and proceeds benefit the efforts of the Teague Historical Preservation Society, Inc., which has been involved in the Teague Hotel renovation since 2002. The Teague Chronicle, Citizens National Bank, Freestone Credit Union and the Economic Development Corporation of Teague have tickets on sale.
