(A summary of recent activity of Fairfield Police Department.)

September 7

1:30 a.m.—Officer Kindon dispatched to U.S. 84 and FCR 606 in attempt to help locate two vehicles with multiple people coming from Mexia and involved in a physical altercation.

3:05 a.m.—Officer Kindon responded to Love's Travel Center in reference to a fight in progress. All parties already vacated the premises before officer's arrival.

2:45 p.m.—Officer Tiner assisted a mother and 4- month-old child that were stranded on the interstate.

3:55 p.m.—Cpl. Green spoke with complainant in reference to extra patrol in her neighborhood.

8:25 p.m.—Officer Gallegos assisted a state trooper with a subject that had outstanding warrants for his arrest.

September 8

12:05 a.m.—Officer Gallegos dispatched to Reunion Street in reference to a possible intoxicated driver which he was unable to locate.

5:05 a.m.—Officer Gallegos dispatched to Reunion Street in reference to lost keys.

9:40 a.m.—Cpl. Green gave a brief presentation at Freestone County Training Center to the retired teachers association in reference to safety.

10:15 a.m.—Officer Tiner took a report of theft.

12:02 p.m.—Officers assisted with a funeral escort.

2:02 p.m.—Officer Tiner dispatched to Sherwood Street in reference to a welfare check.

2:30 p.m.—Cpl. Green dispatched to the Talford Apartments in reference to a civil standby.

7:05 p.m.—Officer Gallegos met with complainant in reference to identity theft.

9:30 p.m.—Officer Gallegos dispatched to Dalia's Restaurant in reference to criminal mischief.

September 9

2:05 a.m.—Officer Gallegos spoke with local hotel clerks in reference to community police efforts.

10:50 a.m.—Sgt. Warren filed cases with the county attorney's office.

4:10 p.m.—Officer Kindon met with complainant in reference to a theft that occurred earlier in the week.

7:25 p.m.—Sgt. Utsey identified a subject sitting outside the gate at a business. Subject was an employee. Everything okay.

September 10

12:23 a.m.—Officer Gasaway responded to Round Prairie Baptist Church in reference to a possible fire. Officer advised that it was not a fire but was an oil rig burning.

9:11 a.m.—Officer Kindon dispatched to the post office in reference to a minor motor vehicle accident.

2:15 p.m.—Officer Kindon, while on a traffic stop, arrested two subjects on outstanding warrants.

4:22 p.m.—Officer Kindon assisted the fire department at a possible structure fire.

11:03 p.m.—Officer Gasaway dispatched to Williford Street in reference to a wild animal loose in an apartment. Animal control took care of the situation.

September 11 3:50 a.m.—Officer Gasaway dispatched to Commerce Street in reference to an alarm.

6:10 p.m.—Sgt. Utsey spoke with a complainant by telephone in reference to missing property.

8:10 p.m.—Cpl. Green found a missing person and returned him to his home on Talford Street.

9:30 p.m.—Sgt. Utsey met with a complainant at Love's in reference to a reckless driver.

September 12

1:38 a.m.—Cpl. Green and Officer Tiner responded to a possible domestic dispute. Cpl. Green advised everything okay, just verbal.

11:47 a.m.—Officer Gallegos responded to a call in reference to a lost animal.

3 p.m.—Officer Gallegos responded to Anderson Street in reference to a subject that had fallen and needed assistance.

9:45 p.m.—Officer Tiner dispatched to Love's in reference to a Greyhound bus traveling from Houston to Dallas with a combative subject on board. Officer Tiner found that the subject was intoxicated in public and assisted him to the county jail.

September 13

2:25 a.m.—Officer responded to the Barn Stop convenience store in reference to a suspicious person.

3:30 a.m.—Officer Tiner dispatched to E. Commerce in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

11:52 a.m.—Officer Gallegos on reported vandalism.

2:05 p.m.—Officer Gallegos on report of two suspicious males behind a business.

4:50 p.m.—Officer Gallegos assisted Fairfield EMS on a medical emergency.

9:10 p.m.—Officer Tiner on reported suspicious vehicle.
