Bonnie and Clyde would roll over in their graves, if they knew of this type of plan of flight! He discarded part of the money at the Car Wash, later located by Deputies House and Slovak. One funeral home in dispute over phone with another….One won't release a body to the other….One of these is in business in our County. I know little about the process, but do know that it is regulated by the State and every piece of paperwork has got to be correct before anything gets done on a body transfer, that is the reason they are licensed. Nobody wants to get into a deal like we read about a few years ago when a Funeral Director in the Southeast had 30 or 40 bodies stacked up in various states of decomposition, unburied. He'd collected the money, the families thought their loved ones had been properly buried, but in fact, months later, they were still above ground. Dead folks have got rights too…..It's all got to be correct.
An 82 year old Lady in Germany took her Audi automobile to the garage for repair, dropping it off. When repaired, the mechanics called, she had them just drop it off and park it in her garage space. Later, she went out to get in the car and found that it had been stolen, police were summoned and a report duly made. Two years elapsed and her neighbor went out to clean up his unused garage, with intentions of renting it out. Under an inch of dust, her Audi was discovered, undriven for two years. The mechanics had stored it in the wrong garage!
Receive late night phone calls from VA and Channel 5 News that anonymous man had called, wouldn't give name or info on self but did say going to kill self, left enough clues that they deduced that he lived somewhere in Freestone County….If and only if Officers show up at his house tonight would he kill himself. Now, if the Officers don't come out to his house tonight monkeying around, then he's going to postpone his date with destiny until tomorrow at 9AM sharp…..For that is when he intends to cut his own heart out on the steps of the Courthouse! I don't know why he would want to do this at the Courthouse. Sounds like he is wanting to make a strong impact…..seems like to me that the steps of the United States Capitol would make a far better impact. Far more press and TV coverage capabilities, you know….. Now, on a serious note…..My hunch is that this caller is one of our Frequent Flyers who has made thousands of 911 calls, always threatening to do something or other, nearly always bad. Yes, he has tried to kill himself in the past, narrowly saved from death when Dickie Taylor found him, nearly bled out in the weeds. As I recall, after slashing his main arteries in four different locations, he had a change of heart, as he was on the cell phone…..You guessed it, dialing 911, trying to get some help. Folks with suicidal tendencies are difficult to deal with. We can offer Jail or Mental Commitment, both are temporary, with eventual release. Then the cycle begins anew.
New paragraph, same subject…. To the subject of preceding paragraph. I've told you this many, many times before, but here it is in print, one more time….If you'll lay off the booze, stay off the telephone and do something to control your anger problems, my prediction is that ALL of your problems will fade rapidly away. Your problems are always late night, thicktongued and on the telephone. Whether Freestone County, the U.S. Secret Service, Dallas Police Department, TDC or Fairfield PD….They all have those same three common denominators.
