ANDREA HAMILTON First teacher of the month for this school year has been chosen at Fairfield junior high school.

Andrea Hamilton teaches eighth grade English Language Arts, and is in her second year at FJHS.

Originally from Teague, Miss Hamilton graduated Teague high school in 2002 and Texas A&M University in 2006. She taught for two years in Richardson before returning to Freestone county.

A school pep squad sponsor, Miss Hamilton is also youth director at the Methodist Church in Teague.

She says she enjoys reading, shopping, and being outside—-especially swimming—-and spends time with her large group of family and friends in Teague.

Teachers of the month at FJHS are chosen by the school staff, and receive a special parking spot, and lunch is provided one day by the school.
