LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Dear Editor:
A recent writer (Letter to the Editor) lamented the opposition to the Health Care Bill, indicating that lies were being told. I want to disagree. There may be some things misrepresented, but for the most part it is all true. The language in the bill does not, for example, state that the elderly sick will be terminated, but the language tells us that medical care may be denied them! There are a lot of things in this bill that are undesirable and I hope it fails.
Me and my wife are 70 years old living on SS alone. I pay $357.56 monthly for an AARP Medicare supplement plan and $76.80 a month for a prescription plan. I would rather pay this than to have so-called "free" health plans provided by the government!
Fox News is a great source of news and preferable to all other news channels. Give it a chance! And listen to Rush Limbaugh on WBAP Monday - Friday at 11:00 a.m.
