Seven head of cattle missing, FCR-340……called back, owner had found one bull and one heifer. Must assume a fence problem rather than theft. Deputy Jeremy Shipley arrests man, jails, Probation Warrant. TPD Reed arrests female driver on Main Street, DWI. Deputies McGowan and Aldrich arrest man on Warrant, FM-489. 911 Bounce from Navarro County, ex- girlfriend just punched the ex-wife, Navarro SO advised to send officer. TPD Sykora to more troubles of same general nature, Adams St. And yet another, Kilgore Trailer Park. You can tell it's hot weather…..Tempers are flaring.

WPD Carter to San Saba, stolen stereo. Dep. Robertson to/from Bradshaw State Jail and Gregg Co. SO, prisoner transport. 18-Wheeler troubles again on FM-27, go past Love's, can't turn in, proceed west, make U-Turn, causes continuing problems. Kirvin truck reported stolen a few paragraphs back…..Not stolen, alcohol was involved, two young men, after truck burned concocted a story to cover their tracks. One of them 'fessed up, and I appreciate his honesty.

Wiring in sign at Ward Prairie Church catches fire, Fairfield VFD to same. TPD Reed to Kilgore Trailer Park, Husband/Wife troubles separated for the night. DPS Adams, FEMS, Fairfield VFD to accident, FM-833, Doctor Chopper also. DPS Thornton to cow/car collision, North 75. Mister Elom assists with dog bit by snake, Sandy Ave. Suspicious person in back yard on S. 7th, TPD Reed to same. THDEMS on emergency run with Lady suffering abdominal pains, catches train at wrong time, crossing blocked, BNSF called….You bet, we'll move that train…..And just as always when receiving an emergency call from us, they did…..And we thank them for their never ending willingness always to either break a train or move it when others safety is involved. Possibly, BNSF has never been praised for doing this…..Generally, what is heard is, " Oh, I got caught by the train and had to sit there 18 minutes while they scratched their ear and blew their noses." No, they always respond expeditiously in any emergency, and we thank them for it.

Freshman Orientation goes terribly bad at FISD, bad Mother/Daughter problem as everyone is heading to parking lot, FPD to same. Transformer blows on W. College. House burglary Kirvin reported, but sounds more like teenagers had party. Deputies Diana Willis, Jeremy Shipley and Rick Howerton to boyfriend/girlfriend troubles, man called Suicide Hotline, also assisted by Leon County Officers.

Buffalo VFD to grassfire, Mile 185. FEMS to FM-2570, possible stroke. Dep.Diana Willis carries strong-minded young man to Juvenile Detention on order of Judge. Bailiff Dusty Brewer in from Court with man ordered to Jail, Probation revoked, stay in Jail awhile. TPD Martin looking for man prowling about, just in another's back yard, Poplar St.

Retirement Party for Deputy Dickie Taylor with large group in attendance, family, friends, co-workers. Dickie gave 24 years of service as a Deputy Sheriff. We wish for him the best of luck in Retirement.

Lady calls from IH-45, 22 year old boyfriend nonresponsive in back seat…..Forget it, he's coming around now! 911 advises of illegal dumping on Grandview Ave., Navarro County SO advised. TxDOT notified of hay bale in road, US-84 East. Bad Family Troubles, Kilgore Trailer Park, TPD Cox, Solly and Martin to same. Deputies Shaw and Elom to FM-833, people trying to move property.

Two year old little boy reported running naked as a jaybird down Oak Street, no adult in sight……"No, wait….I think that's the mother running down the street….yeah….that's the mother….." Gunshots from US-84 near restaurants, TPD Noll and Martin to same. Deputies Shaw and Elom to threats of physical violence at residence of threesome, when arrived found calling party never showed.
