Signups will be taken and information distributed Monday evening to organize the 2009 "Bleacher Creatures."

The creatures are a collection of Fairfield students in grades 1-6 who provide spirit for the Eagles varsity football team at home games.

Membership includes free admission to home games and an Eagles jersey.

The creatures run through the Eagles tunnel onto the field at each home football game.

Purpose of the organization is to develop team spirit in younger Fairfield students as they cheer for the Eagles.

The organization meeting for parents is at 7 p.m. in the elementary school cafeteria.

Heading up the effort are Jana Childers and Nicole Crawford.
