The more I hear about slant hole drilling the more I wonder about whose pockets it is filling.

Woodsmen, woodsmen, spare that tree. Please don't leave it in a great big "V".

A Tiger in the

Woods

He said, "When I was on patrol all alone, I saw a tiger. But no one will believe me."

Well, I saw a tiger, too. He scored a birdie on a par three.

Just Another Scam

They say trust us with your unusable silver and gold. I haven't believed a fairy tale like that since I was four years old.

Very Uplifting

She was unhappy with her sagging body. But thanks to modern technology now she has new upholstery.

Our Town Flower

When spring turns to summer the Texas bluebonnets in the pastures return to another year's slumber.

We have the only flower that beats the Texas heat. The roadside wildflowers can't compete. And Tyler's roses can't clear the hurtles. None compare with Fairfield's crape myrtles.

While the Doctor is

Away

She was a stranger in town. She entered the first clinic she found.

The nurse said, "The doctor is out making house calls."

She asked, "But who is the guy in the coveralls? He forgot his mop and broom when he examined me in the waiting room."
