CAROL PHILLIPS Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Phillips were held on Sunday, July 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home. Walter Pickens officiated. Interment followed the service at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin.

Visitation was held Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Phillips, 43, passed away July 2 at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield.

She graduated from Teague High School in 1984. She loved life, loved to smile, and loved her dog "Mutley" very much. Mrs. Phillips always looked for the good in people.

She is survived by her husband Greg Phillips; two daughters, Carli and Brittney Phillips, all of Dew; parents Peewee and Linda Carter of Kirvin; brother Warren Carter and wife Kim and two nephews, Joelynn & Wayland Carter, all of Shiloh; her faithful dog Mutley and other relatives and friends.
